Product Development: Lane Bryant, 2011

Design and product development of ladies plus knit and knit/woven tops.

In my full-time contract work with Lane Bryant I was responsible for design and product development of ladies plus knit tops and design operations including management of the fabric library, color, print strike-off reviews, sample yardage, and sample requests.

Responsibilities:
• Designed knit tops and sketched detailed flat technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator • Communicated with vendors and overseas sourcing team to review and confirm fabric options

• Partnered with cross-functional team members in color, graphics, buying, sourcing, technical and design

• Researched trends, provided input, and predicted future market needs

• Utilized Flex PLM- Product Lifecycle Management program to create and edit tech packs

• Trained intern on tech pack builds, reviewed construction detail pages, and bills of material

• Assisted in presentation & final editing of the collection at Line Close

• Consistently supported the development of designs for a broad range of sizes and shapes

• Acted as an ambassador for inclusive beauty and fashion through storytelling
